    Vtg 1960s Lemon Yellow Octagonal Covered Ceramic Jewelry or Powder Dish with Rose Lid JAPAN
    This beautiful brightly colored powder or jewelry dish screams the mid-century 1960s because it is glazed, inside & out, with this incredible hue of Lemon Yellow!! The dish is octagon in shape, as is the lid, and it is signed on the bottom with JAPAN impressed into the ceramic.
    The intensity of the yellow allows the beautiful single rose blossom to emerge on the top in a creamy white glaze (see photos).
    This is a lovely piece from a bye-gone era, is in excellent condition and measures approximately 3 ” across the bottom’s top rim, 2 ½” tall at the side.
    Please keep in mind this is vintage and not a new item. I try to describe items as accurately as possible, but cannot always detail each flaw. Crazing and manufacturing flaws such as pin heads, color variations, straw marks, bubbles, inclusions, and other manufacturing anomalies, which are considered normal for glass, china, and pottery of age. Most vintage items are as they came from an estate, so may have water stains inside vases of age, scuff to wood, etc.
