The group of items relates to the thousands of folks who spent many hours as volunteers for the games. I was assigned to manage the figure skaters music for the practice sessons and my wife functioned as an announcer. At the end of the games those who had completed the required hours received a diploma signed by the head of the Olympic committee as well as now, Senator Mitt Romney, head of the Salt Lake games. The voluneers were give a pin when they completed the required training hours. They also received a Playbook to record their shifts. The Thank You pin, a broze medal and the diploma were presented at the conclusion of the games.
