the necklace
i bought a dresser set about 25 years ago. the rest of the set has long since gone unaccounted for. except for this lovely little jar. the jar is not hallmarked, but I know when I purchased the dresser set, the larger parts of it (that were part of a specifically
matching
set) did have sterling marks. it is actually a very practical little object.
i am unsure if the glass is poured or is crystal. i can't find any bubbles in the glass and it is heavy. Jar lid fights very nice and snuggly and can be used for storage securely.
condition
wear commensurate with age and use. sterling lid has no dents—which is a miracle given its age. and the lid fits just perfectly snug. i will leave cleaning to the discretion of the buyer.
