Vintage Yellow Art Deco Round Powder Jar with Mirror Inside

This is a gorgeous powder jar in the art deco style.  I wasn't sure what it was for, but there are some powder remnants on the edges, so that made it easy!  It is glass and stands 3.5" tall and is
nearly 3" in diameter.  It is yellow/gold in color and the color is on the inside.  There are some areas that the yellow has 'warmed' to an orange/red.  It opens in the center to reveal a plastic mirror (might be added?).  Underneath that would be where the powder and powder puff (missing) goes.  There are some scratches inside, some dirt, and it smells powdery and sweet.  There are some scratches inside the lid as well.  There are some scratches on the back of the mirror.  It is round, sitting on 3 glass legs.  The base seems to be all one piece of glass and the top is one piece of glass.  The edge around the top part has a few small nicks, but overall it is in good shape.  It looks like a space ship--Lovely and unusual!  Do you like it too?
