    Description

    Who says your vanity accessories needs to be frilly?  Most likely circa 50's or 60's, this extra-roomy pressed glass powder jar reminds us of the sleek deco geometric designs of the 30's.  Body of the jar is classically CUBIST, with the shapes becoming more rectangular on the lid.  Base is somewhat recessed creating a "stand" for the body. Starburst/sun ray  impressions surround the knob that repeats the cubist theme. And wow! Full weight of this piece is 1 1/2 pounds before packing!  Jar has a 5 1/2" diameter at the opening; height is 4" with the lid on.  I left the
    turquoise Avon "Rapture" Beauty Dust Refill
    found inside as it adds a fun 50's vibe!  Of course this is a perfect place to stash jewelry, hair accessories or sewing supplies!
