Vintage Glass Bureau Jar Hair Jar Powder Jar with Metal Lid

Description

Vintage glass jar with pressed metal lid.  Could have been used as a hair jar, powder jar of any type of bureau jar.  Stands about 3 in. tall with the lid in place, about 4 in. diameter at the widest part of the jar.  Jar is made of heavy pressed glass with geometric patterns, ribs & thumbprints.  Lid is pressed metal, aluminum I think - not steel, not marked.  It shows a woman & a cherub surrounded by flowers.  The lid is not threaded, just sits snugly on top of the jar.  Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition - no stains, cloudiness, chips, cracks or deep scratches.  Bottom of jar shows signs of normal use on the bureau.
