VINTAGE EPIAG CZECHOSLOVAKIA HAND PAINTED POWDER JAR SHAKER

Description

This lovely hand painted shaker jar is marked EPIAG Czecho-Slovakia and stands 4 1/2” tall, 1 3/8” deep and 2 1/2” wide. The shaker top is painted gold. The jar is adorned with pastel pink and blue flowers with green leaves on a creamy white background. This piece was likely part of a vanity set as a powder shaker. It is missing it’s cork stopper.
The body and shaker top has no chips or cracks. The bottom edge has a tiny flea bite nicks that is barely visible and found only with touch inspection. (See last two photos). There is a defect on the edge of the stopper hole on the bottom - it has the same glazed edge as the rounded stopper hole, so may have been part of the manufacturing process.
