Vintage DEVILBISS DE VILBISS DeVilbiss PORCELAIN POWDER JAR Purple Flowers

Description

Vintage porcelain powder jar from DeVilbiss was at one time part of a set of vanity items that included perfume bottles. This powder jar is all that we have left. It's white with purple flowers on the lid; metallic gold trim on the knob and lid's edge. Bottom is plain white. Bottom of jar measures 4" in diameter and 1-3/8" tall. With the lid, it is about 4-1/8" in diameter and 2-3/4" tall to the top of the knob. Bottom has original DeVilbiss sticker for the whole 3-pc. set on the bottom, a metallic gold logo stamp, and red and gold foil sticker that says JAPAN.
No chips or cracks. A little visible wear around unglazed bottom rim from normal sitting; inside of jar has an unglazed band around the inner top edge (seen in fifth photo). A little light wear on the gold trim on top of the lid's knob. Still overall nice condition.
