Up for bid is a nice crystal vanity jar with a silverplated lid. The piece is 3 inches in diameter by 3 inches tall, and the lid weighs 65 grams. The octagonal jar base appears to be crystal and is quite heavy. The simple slide-on lid is undecorated. It is monogrammed “COACH FRITTS” on the top. The lid is marked “PLATA LAPPAS / MADE IN ARGENTINA”. The glass is unsigned.
Condition on the piece is fairly good. There are some scratches to the lid and base, but no major dents of chips. There is residue from some felt feet on the bottom. A nice vintage dresser jar.
