Vintage Art Deco Heavy Glass Makeup Powder Jar w/ Gold Metal Lid (Circa 1950's)

Up for bids is a
very
nice vintage make-up powder/creme jar, which was probably from the 1950's or 1960's.  The glass jar has ribbing around the side and four art deco style accents.  The metal lid has a gold finish, and it is etched with three decorative bands, two of which include a vine pattern.  The jar measures 3.5" in diameter and 2" high (with an interior depth of 1.25").  The maker is unknown, but it has a very elegant design.  It is in excellent condition,
without cracks or chips.  It has been
well cared for in my family for at least 60 years.
After all these years, it seems time to allow it to move along to a new home where it can be more fully appreciated.  It would make a nice addition to any collection of vintage toiletries.  It could also be used to hold jewelry or other trinkets, or it could still be used for their intended purpose.
