Vintage 1950’s Jeannett Flash Glass Swan Powder Dish / Bowl W / Lipstick Holder / Trinket Box.
Here's a gorgeous power bowl/dish from the Jeannette Glass Company, circa 1950's, that's in good condition for its age. The swan's tail is also shaped to be a lipstick holder. This two piece depression glass set has a beautiful "flashed" on green & gold paint that's also in good condition. This color combination is truly beautiful and I hope the photo's show this fairly. It does have small spot where the "flashing" has came off though on the piece, and which may be easily seen in photo's. As you can see from the photo's it doesn't detract from the beauty of this set. There are no chips to the upper or lower teeth of the two pieces where the join or anywhere else on the swan, lid or base. I've tried showing any flaws by using all 12 pictures that are allotted . This lovely depression glass powder dish measures approximately 5" high, 4 1/2" in diameter/wide. The bottom piece measures approximately 1 3/4" high.
