The lid has pretty
raised
flower design and elegant
beaded
rim
.
The glass has
fluted
body, with the shape of almost a pumpkin!
Beautiful piece!
Great condition.  The glass has
no chips
, but there is
minimal wear
at the bottom.  Sterling silver lid is in good, used condition, commensurate with age.  Silver (even sterling) is
soft
and can be
bent
easily and can have
dents and small dings
.  But this lid has no scratches. There are
3 small holes
at the top of the lid, not too noticeable.  See pictures.
There
are a couple of small air bubbles in the glass.
Marked "
Sterling
" on the lid.

Glass is
thick
and
smooth
, feels very nice. Silver lid is not too thick, but closes very tightly.  Overall a really nice piece.  Can be used for anything.  Great gift !
