super rare 1980 Olympics lake placid Drink Serving Tray Plate Leather plastic

looks like leather or faux leather insert into a round plastic tray. some staining. overall very good condition needs cleaning embossed with the x111 olympic winter games Lake Placid 1980 and the design for the Olympics that year . this was used and I do not think it was a souvenir see the photos
while shooting the photos I did find a small crack in the faux wood plastic at about 11 o'clock maybe 1" long.  almost impossible to see as I could not find it with my glasses on. I call all issues and potential issues so we are all on the same page see the last photos
this is very rare as I have not been able to find any anywhere

measurements are about 13" diameter and about 5/8" tall.
The only thing I can think of is maybe in the olympic village or some such
