Sterling Silver Top Medium Sized Art Nouveau No Mono 2" Diameter

Description

Here is a lovely medium sized sterling topped dresser / powder / vanity jar.  Marked "Sterling" within the pattern, but no indication of maker's mark.  Top Shield has never been monogrammed.  Pattern is classic Art Nouveau -- swirly lines with a line of lilies of the valley working their way up either side of the central shield.  Base is presed glass with 8 facets and a star burst pattern on the bottom.
Dimensions:  Diameter 2" x 2" tall
Silver top fitter Diameter = 1 7/8"
Silver weight (excludes jar) = 7 Grams
Condition:  it is just so rare to find these jars without side bashes to the silver lids.  I see 5  less-than-perfect spots at the rim on the sides.  I'd call that average wear -- bops and pings are shallow and not distracting.  One flea bit to the crystal on the inside lip of the opening -- you really have to be looking for it to even notice it.
