Rock Tumbler Grit and Polish
tumbling and polishing materials are compatible with high-quality rotary and vibratory tumblers.
This listing is for (4) 4-step kits of superior abrasive and polishing materials.
This set has enough media to complete (4 to 5) four-step tumbling & polish processes, for up to 3 pounds of rock each time.
Smaller tumbling batches can also be completed using this set of tumbling media, and a scale to calculate the correct amounts is included.
These components are well-suited to a broad spectrum of Mohs hardness levels, beautifully finishing a variety of stones, gems & minerals.
With long-lasting durability, silicon carbide grit produces dependable, premium results!
Silicon carbide is used for grinding and shaping rough rocks, smoothing surfaces of shaped rocks & refining and enhancing rock details.
A smooth final polishing using the ultra-fine grade of aluminum oxide produces a bright, resilient and glossy shine.

Included in each of the (4) packs are convenient, pre-measured, resealable zippered bags containing:
4 oz. 60/90 g
rit silicon carbide (Coarse for Step 1);
4 oz. 120/220 grit silicon carbide (Medium-Fine for Step 2);
2 oz. 500/600 grit silicon carbide (Pre-Polish for Step 3);
2 oz. package 1200 grit aluminum oxide (Polish for Step 4);
Plus: a helpful guide for using these materials, and useful tips on how to achieve great tumbling results.
We include a little more in each pack than what is typically needed, so this package may finish up to 5 tumbling batches.
