and highly collectible original vintage program produced for legendary
Ray Charles’
October 1969 nationwide tour of Germany in support of the
Doing His Thing
album, produced by Joe Adams and released in May 1969. Presented by Norman Granz in association with Lippmann+Rau, the eight-date tour commenced at the Sporthalle in Cologne on 16th October and ended at the Musikhalle in Hamburg on 28th October. The program has been authentically signed inside by Raelettes Estella Yarbrough and Veronica Moss, as well as trombonist Henry Coker, and saxophonists Andy Ennis, Leroy Cooper and Curtis Peagler. The program features artwork and design by Günther Kieser.
In original b/w pictorial matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.6 x 25.4 cm, 20 pp. Bilingual edition with program notes by Marek Lieberberg in both German and English. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
