Rare 30s art deco powder jar with Scottie dog /half doll related

It's not very often you see a powder jar or candy box with a dog standing gracefully on the lid. This powder or trinket box is very typical of the art deco period: a stylish Scotch Terrier dog in black and white, with a lot of questioning in his eyes, is standing on a yellow and black box. Judging by its quality, this jar was made in
Germany
from heavy porcelain in the 20s – 30s. It measures 4¾ x 3¾” (12 x 9,5 cm) and is 5½" (14 cm) high. No marking. It is in overall good vintage condition with only one repaired flat chip on the rim of the lid, in front of the dog’s left front paw. It is hardly noticeable but we took this into account in the pricing of this item. The dog itself is perfectly handpainted. The black stripes on the yellow box are a bit unevenly painted.
