Pair of Satsuma Figural Baluster Vases
7 3/8"h, c. early-mid 19th century.
Vertical panels of court officials in intricately decorated robes alternating with panels of peonies.  Elaborate diapered borders with relief beading & gilt outlines.
Very fine characteristic crazing.  Light wear especially to gilt appropriate to age.  Small top edge old repair on one otherwise no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
