Pair of Large Satsuma Figural Baluster Vases
15¼" h, c. mid-late 19th century.
Baluster shape with two large panels reserved on cobalt blue ground.
Hand painted panels of ladies & children in color enamels & gilt. Gilt floral decorations on cobalt blue ground.  By hand gilt lines & cross marks of painter.
Characteristic very fine crazing.  Natural wear, especially to gilt, appropriate to age.  No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
