Pair of 18th Century Chinese Export Porcelain JRR Monogramed Bowls
in Rose & Gilt
8" dia x 1 1/2"h, c.
3'rd quarter 18th century
Round smooth edge shape.  Painted rose & gilt egg-shaped center JRR monogram with serpentine dot & ribbon embellishment.
Inner serpentine border.  Edge border  of gilt stars on rose band above gilt & rose wave form band.
Rare matching pair.  Edge fritting & small chips; 1 3/4" fine tight hairline from rim on one.  Light natural wear but a very good pair
that displays well.
