ITEM:
This is a lovely porcelain powder jar with hand painted purple violets and gold moriage decoration. Perfect for display on a vanity, in a cabinet or to hold keepsakes or jewelry.
MARK:
The leaf makers mark with "Nippon" and "Hand Painted".
SIZE:
Standard sized powder jar approximately 5" in diameter.
CONDITION:
Very fine, clean condition, the hand painting remains bright. No chips, cracks or restorations. There is one small black fleck from the maker in the bottom of the inside of the jar. As with all antique porcelain there may be the occasional tiny pin mark or variation in the finish.
