  • Condition: This pre-owned, vintage New Martinsville green, figural powder jar of Martha Washington posing with two of her children is in Very Good + to Fine Condition. (Note: George and Martha Washington did not have children of their own.). This figural piece does display light shelf wear and light rub scratches, as well as a minute chip to the front base of figural top. However, no cracks or stress fractures are visible upon further examination. The green coloration has maintained its integrity over the years; although slight fading is visible along the front edge and edge sides. This figural powder jar is presentable, collectible, and would make a fine addition for a collector of powder jars, glass art glass figures, or art deco items in general.
