    Description

Catalogued by the Cheney Cowles Museum, Spokane Washington, as a Moro Cutting and Scraping Tool.
De Accessioned by the Museum October 1991.
With a very sharp, hand forged blade mounted in a hard wood handle. this knife/tool has many obvious uses
ranging from scraping a hide to a fighting knife. As is the case with many ethnographic knives and tools, we can find no reference other than the museums attribution.
The knife/tool has nice patina on the wood area. One side of the serpent like head on the wood grip is damaged, as shown. The blade is blued with scattered light pitting.
The overall length is 16", the viewable blade is 8 1/2"
A great addition to any Philippine Collection.
