    Meiji Banko Greyware Hand Painted Teapot & Cover
    3½” dia x 3¼” h, c. late 19
    th
    century.
    Grayware pottery in ovoid shape with bamboo form handle, spout & finial. Round inset cover with circle finial.
    Floral decoration, flat & relief, painted in red, white, green, aubergene & yellow enamels. Fine crackle glaze.
    Impressed potter’s mark on underside. Impressed Yixing mark on inside of cover.
    Very good with very small nick to spout tip, otherwise no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
