    This 6" diameter powder jar with the semi-nude torso finial is called "Gretchen." The young lady is posing with her arms crossed over her chest. Her hair is pulled into a bun over both ears and is parted down the middle of her head. This powder jar has only been found with a stippled background.  Pink Transparent powder jars are considered RARE.  The base is the same the one used with several other L. E. Smith Glass Company figural powder jars with animal and human shape finials.
