OOAK Folk Art from Kentucky ~ An authentic cute, genuine tiny cured Gourd, which has a hand-painted detailed winter scene painted all the way around the Gourd . It’s Dainty and detailed. It can be used in a Dollhouse , Fairy Garden, Gourd for Barbie , worn as a necklace
OR
used as an ornament . There are multiple uses! The gourd has a removable cord, keep it to use as part of a rustic necklace look or use it to hang it as an ornament. Or you can just replace the cord with one of your own jewelry chains or a pretty ribbon to hang it . I do not know the exact age, but I’ve had it for 13+ years . I never wore it, and I never used it , it has been kept wrapped in tissue paper in my lined jewelry box. I do Not know the artist name, but their initials are on the very bottom (See pictures) . It was made in Kentucky . The Mini Gourd itself is in excellent condition . I have never seen a gourd this tiny before. It’s amazing how they were able to paint on it . The paintings are crisp, clear, and detailed, telling a picturesque story . The cord is a strong burgundy thread cord and removable. It can easily be removed and replaced with your favorite necklace chain ) ( The burgundy cord is 15.5” Long ) or use it to hang as an ornament . The mini Gourd is 1” Long, and 1/2” wide . I took pictures and posted them in the order of the painted scenes appear by Rotating the Gourd around either clockwise or counter clockwise . There is No Reserve on this auction. This is a quaint, dainty, fun , and unique piece of art and culture. Make it yours!
