Original vintage concert program for the
Jack Teagarden—Earl Hines All-Stars’
Sept/Oct 1957 nation-wide tour of Great Britain, with an ensemble that featured Cozy Cole (drums), Max Kaminsky (trumpet), Peanuts Hucko (clarinet), and Jack Lesberg (bass). Presented by the National Jazz Federation, the tour kicked off at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 28th September and ended at the London Coliseum on 13th October, 1957. The program has been authentically signed by all members of the sextet, except Max Kaminsky. Original ticket for the concert at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on 2nd October, laid in.
In original green and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 26.3 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Paul Oliver, Stanley Dance, Brian Nicholls, Sinclair Traill, and Jack Higgins. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Please see all supersized images below for the exact condition of the program.
