Indiana Glass Art Deco 3 Toed Vanity Powder Jar w Lid & 22k Gold
We are pleased to offer this lovely Art Deco Vanity Powder Box with lid #604 manufactured by the Indiana Glass Company circa
1935
. It features a clambroth fired on finish on the clear glass bottom with rich red color applied to the lid - except for the clear glass knob. The lid has traces of a 22k gold leaf design (not as strong as it appears in the 3rd photo) - some of which has worn with age and a teeny dot sized nick on the underside (extremely minor).
This three/3 toed vanity box has concentric horizontal bands on the base and on the lid edge. It would have held loose powder and a powder puff on grandma's/great grandma's vanity circa 1920s-1930s. Today it would make a wonderful candy dish or trinket box as well.
It measures 6-1/2" wide and stands 5-3/4" tall.  Just a wonderful vintage Art Deco piece of that you are sure to want to add to your Powder Jar Collection.
