Handmade Rustic Motorcycle Spark Plug Nuts & Bolts Art Sculpture Harley Davidson.
HAS BEEN LAYING IN SALTWATER FOR PROBABLY MORE THAN 3 MONTHS OR WHO KNOWS MAYBE 3 YEARS. THERE IS NO OTHER ONE LIKE THIS WHICH HAS THIS MUCH NATURAL CORROSION AND WEATHERED DETAILED PATINA. TRULY ONE OF A KIND.
The artist or the owner of this shop were these sculptures are produced at "Metalsoulsusa" and Mr. JACK N. is the owner.
I found this wonderful baby in the Brisbane Lagoon (SF, C.A.) at low tide.
It was covered in barnacles and had shells all wedged up in the wheels.
It was covered in layers and layers of underwater shipwrecked saltwater debris and awesome patina.
I actually thought it was in diecast model so I took a hammer to it  and about 15 whacks later these chunks become loosend up of the thin flakes of rusty brownish metal flakes. I would say that it's been there for probably 3 to 9 months. Because there was seaweed plant life growing through it as well. I was so lucky I just looked down and saw a shape of the motorcycle and couldn't believe what an incredible find i just made...
So took a hammer and a wire brush and start attacking a way to get to the bare metal because at first it was very hard to identify.
That was taking too long so then I got a wire brush drill attachment and the whole thing took me about an hour to get it down to what it is now which is still fully intact and then I discovered after blasting it with the hose, that the front wheel rotated and the front and handlebars also where movable.
This metal Sculpture is WELL PUT TOGETHER. Its strong and very durable.  It has brass welds all over it AND REPRESENTS miniature model of Harley Davidson Softail and
then I discovered, online, that there is a company that makes its exact model with these exact parts:
spark plug, sprocket chain, bearing in cups as tires, a Plumb Bob as fuel tank, push rods and other metal poles for framing and exhaust, sheet metal for fenders  acorn nuts at headlights small timing chain for rear license plate lights and also the mirror  mounts, and also Nails as the footrest then cable for the brake lines. The gas cap on fuel tank is a tiny nut,  I dont know what they used for the seat frame but it sure looks just like a leather seat from a HD softail. The most intricate part of this sculpture is the front steering and how the Center Bar in the forks goes through a welding nut to the fuel tank which you can easily since its guided through the threads of the bolt.
I added lenses for a clear headlamp, Amber turn signals and red tail lights and clear license plate light...
There is still a shell fragment wedged in between the rear wheel hub and axel. There is a break in a weld that connects the frame to the rear wheel on the right side but it's so well put-together it won't affect the sculpture at all
