Hair Receiver Jar Large 4" Art Deco Sterling Silver (marked) Monogram "M"

Description

This is an very nice large Art Deco sterling silver topped hair receiver.  It is the mate to a powder jar I also have currently for sale. Should you wish to buy these as a pair, shipping on 2nd item is free.
The top has a modified tulip band around the outside, with an engraved with a "M" beside the hair receiver hole. I suppose it could be a "W" if I'm upside down!
The lid is marked sterling silver on the outside rim. Guaranteed to be sterling silver. Silver weight is 55 grams.
The bottom portion is heavy pressed glass.
Dimensions:Base: 4" diameter at widest point. Opening is 3 3/4" on the outside rim, 3 1/2" if measured on the inside. Top: 4 1/4" diameter at widest point, and 3 3/4" on the fitter rim. It fits securely and snugly, so I can say with confidence this is original lid to the piece.
Condition: Rim is free and clear of dings and bashes (rare!). Glass base has one extremely small chip on the bottom outside edge as shown in the last photograph. Overall, for age, I say this one is in extremely good condition.
