    Description

    A vanity/dresser powder jar.
    Sterling silver detachable lid and a clear glass bowl.
    Slightly domed silver lid decorated with embossed flowers,
    foliage and scrolls. Gold washed interior.
    Please look and inspect all the photos.
    Not monogrammed.
    Marked to lid's rim:
    "Gorham Sterling" for manufacturer and for .925/1000 silver purity;
    numerals "27" probably for pattern or manufacturer's code.
    Made sometime in 1940's.-1950's.
