GORGEOUS ANTIQUE GORHAM STERL LID POWDER ETCHED-FLOWERS CUT BASE c1900 NO MONO!

Description

Gorham Sterling-topped Powder Jar with etched flowers and leaves and swirls. No Monogram!! Heavy cut glass base.  Inside of the top is 3 3/4" diameter, top is 4" diameter, marked with the Gorham lion, anchor and G, with D2552.  The jar is 3 1/2" diameter with one small nick on the rim, the base bulges out with rounded vertical "fingers" all over the sides, with a cut star on the base, base is 2 3/8" H.  Powder Jar with lid on overall is 2 1/2" H.  The sterling lid is nearly perfect with no dings showing on the outside, but a few minor spots on the inside which do not show through on the outside top.  The lid with has traces of gold wash on the inside. A beautiful jar!
