    Description

Up for Auction is this RARE BEATUTIFUL & Exquisite Qianlong Dynasty (1736-1795) Qianlong Marked Famille Rose Enamel Hand Painted Stoneware lidded Ginger/Tea Jar.  It has the Qianlong Mark on the bottom and in superb shape with a Foo Dog handle on the top of the lid.  It is hand painted with beautiful hearts, scrollwork, butterflies and Peonies throughout this Beautiful piece.  All the colors are bright and vibrant and This Gorgeous piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!!! No issues that I can find at all.  It measures approx. 9 1/2" Tall x 7 1/2" Diam. and is very heavy piece of stoneware, weighing over 5 lbs. without packaging for shipping. See all the pics...This Beautiful piece came from my Grandfather which was is overseas for quite some time back in the 1930's during the war, and he told me he bought this piece in a Exquisite Gallery in China and he had told me when I was a lot younger he had paid approx. 0.00 for it back then, which was a lot of money back then, and had it shipped to his wife as a anniversary gift, and it was stored in her curio cabinet with other items that my Grandfather had sent home to her, and everything he had ever sent her was always beautiful and unusual.
I had this piece appraised and she told me all of the above information, with the exception of my Grandfathers history, lol.....but since she knew the providence of this piece and the marking on the bottom and the condition & all the exquisite details, and motif, and the full body Foo Dog on the top, she said was unusual for some reason, she didn't say, and I forgot to ask, because I was just floored when she told me how much she appraised it for....she appraised it for over ,000 to ,000 and at in auction, it would probably sell for much, much more, but I don't have time for that. But I am going to start it lower, due to me downsizing due to a move to a smaller place.
