Store Policies
General-
We do not end auctions early and there are no exceptions to this.
Anything we list is offered only through that listing during the time it is listed.
We will not sell an item elsewhere and then end a listing.
If a listing does not contain a "make an offer" or "best offer" component, the price listed is firm so please do not ask us to lower the price of an item or lower the shipping charges, as these prices are not negotiable.
We leave feedback
after
receiving feedback from our clients telling us that they are satisfied with their purchase.
Purchasing multiple items-
When purchasing multiple items, the cart feature must be used, and you must request an invoice in order to receive a combined shipping discount.
If one or more items involve an auction-style listing that you have bid on you will need to inform us of this.
After
you contact us the total payment for your multiple items will be due within 48 hours of the end of the last auction you have bid on.
If you do not contact us, we will not know to waive the 48-hour payment policy and your sales may be cancelled without notice.
Payment Policies-
We only accept Pay-Pal as a form of payment.
Payments are due within 48 hours unless you contact us within that period of time to make other arrangements.
If no payment is made and we receive no contact from the buyer within 48 hours, the sale(s) will be cancelled, and the item(s) will be relisted.
Shipping Policies-
Items are shipped within 2 business days of receiving payment.
Business days are Monday through Friday excluding major holidays.
Items are shipped Priority Mail (unless stated otherwise) through the United States Postal Service which provides tracking and insurance up to a value of .
Insurance for greater values are available upon request of the buyer and will be paid for by the buyer.
In order to save you money on shipping certain items will be listed with 1
st
Class shipping.
These items will fall within the allowable weights and sizes as per USPS policies.
These items are typically small envelopes or packaging weighing less than 14 oz. Tracking is included when shipping 1
st
Class, just as it is for Priority mail.
If you would rather pay more for Priority Shipping on an item listed with 1
st
class shipping rates you can notify us using Ebay messaging.
Depending on destination location, the time it takes for your item to arrive will be a bit longer when shipped 1
st
Class but the savings can be substantial.
All International sales are shipped through Ebay's Global Shipping Program (GSP).
Combined shipping is not available at this time when using Ebay's GSP.
We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APOs, or FPOs.
Import duties, taxes and charges involved with International purchases are not included in the price of items or our shipping charges and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Ebay's Global Shipping Program provides the buyer with International shipping charges beyond the item price and shipping charges that we list.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to check with their country's customs offices to determine if there are any additional charges.
The buyer should do this before purchasing or bidding on any item.
We are not responsible for items damaged during shipping.
All damage claims must be filed with the U.S. Postal Service for the time the package was in their possession.
Once an item reaches the global shipping hub it becomes the responsibility of Ebay and your country's postal service to deliver the package.
We pack items in a well-protected manner appropriate of the item(s) being shipped. We have a lot of experience shipping custom orders containing fragile contents.
Returns-
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, please contact us before leaving less than a 5-star rating.
We will do everything we can to resolve any issues you are concerned with.
Your satisfaction is our priority.
If a return is necessary, the return shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer, unless circumstances dictate otherwise.
Returned items must be in the same condition that we shipped them in including all packaging or no refund will be generated.
In the event of a return, the buyer must contact us for return authorization, or the return package will be considered unsolicited.
We will always work with our buyers who we consider to be our clients to resolve any issues that may arise, so please give us the opportunity to do so.
We believe strongly in good communications and ask that our clients do the same.
Please ask questions
before
purchasing an item.
Should you have any concerns after receiving your item(s) please contact us.
Condition
-
We do our best to describe items as accurately as possible.
Many of our items come from estate sales and the like.
Because of this we may have limited knowledge of the item’s history.
However, we do encourage you to contact us as there are times when we have more information than is practical to include in a listing and we would be happy to relay this to you.
When describing the condition of an item we use the Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent, Like New, and New descriptors.
We do not consider any item to be “mint” once it leaves the manufacturer so you will not see us use this term.
Because condition is subjective by nature, we strive to produce the best photographs we can. These photos are part of the item’s description. They are there to assist you in making informed purchasing decisions.
We do our best to describe and photograph any damage that exists on an item.
We use the term “shelf wear”.
This pertains to the condition of the manufacturers packaging.
Most items will have some degree of bump, rub, or other types of damage to the packaging and we do our best to describe this.
We back this up by including photos of the packaging, as this is the best way of relaying this information.
Finally, we really do stress communications and there are no “dumb” questions.
We used to be located where there were a lot of toy shows and contact with our clients was the best part of being a dealer at those shows.
Today, the best part of this Ebay venue is the contact we receive from our clients.
We love these hobbies and although we do not sell in a large store format with hundreds of items listed, we believe that our approach gives us the opportunity to provide a service that spreads the enjoyment of owning scale transportation miniatures with an attention to detail that benefits our clients.
