  • Condition: Used but in exquisite condition. I would conservatively rate the condition a 9.5 of 10. The wood grain is also quite exceptional. Without any doubt, this is an elegant handmade piece, made long before computerized carving replaced human hands.

    Description

    This is an absolutely beautiful hand carved wood bowl.  Examining the bowl very closely I find no flaws at all. The carvings are crisp and clean, and the finish is in superb condition. This is a great find.
    To hold it in your hands gives a sense of history and culture from another time and place.
    The bowl is large, 16.5 inches long and about 5 1/4 inches wide. I wish I knew the story of this bowl's travels, but I do not. It is a superb example of beautiful workmanship in the hands of a skilled wood carver.
