    This is an original BACKSTAGE PASS, in the form of a 1 1/2 x 1 5/8 inch badge / pin for the historic
    NATIONAL JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL 1967 at WINDSOR Racecourse
    This astounding three day festival (August 11 -13, 1967) featured an amazing line-up including:
    August 11:
    SMALL FACES, THE MOVE, Tomorrow, Marmalade, The Syn (including Chris Squire, who soon after formed YES), ERIC BURDON & THE NEW ANIMALS
    August 12:
    PINK FLOYD (cancelled due to Syd Barrett's deteriorating condition), they were replaced by THE NICE (including KEITH EMERSON later of Emerson, Lake & Palmer), Paul Jones,
    The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Zoot Money, The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, TEN YEARS AFTER, Amen Corner, Time Box
    August 13:
    CREAM (Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker), The JEFF BECK GROUP, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (with Mick Taylor on guitar), PP Arnold, Alan Bown, Chicken Shack, FLEETWOOD MAC (their debut concert appearance!), DONOVAN, Denny Laine and his String Band, Blossom Toes, Pentangle
    The festival took place in Windsor in Berkshire, England.
    The person I acquired this from over 30 years ago was an avid collector who told me it was a Backstage Pass used for the performers at the festival.  It is in the form of an shield shaped badge with a small original safety pin still attached.  The back side is blank, solid yellow.  It is in Near Mint condition.
