Seated figure of a beggar in patched robes with fan & gourd, probably Daoist Immortal Li Tieh Quai, who entered the body of a deceased beggar after returning from the celestial regions in spirit and discovered that his disciples had cremated his body.
Very fine detail. Original old mellow brass patina, heavy.
