Beautiful Antique Japanese Powder, Trinket, Coin Lidded Box Meiji Satsuma

Description

This is a very beautiful little lidded box, and made of porcelain.
Measures 3 1/2 inches across, 1 3/4 inches high with the lid. Excellent aged condition, exhibits lovely crackling patterns on the box and lid both.
The intricate detail of the designs are fascinating, almost cloisonné style, and exquisite in the coloration of the lid and sides. Printed on the bottom Satsuma Japan, and I believe late 19th century Meiji.
