    Description

20222 Art Deco Lynn Derek Men's Powder Container 3.5 Oz Empty.  Mid-century modern
Lynn Derek is an old perfumery house, founded at the end of 19th century in France. It was founded by Guillaume Lenthéric, a hairdresser who opened his saloon in Rue St. Honore, Paris in 1875.
Guillaume Lenthéric was also very passionate about perfumes and created some for his aristocratic friends, but soon became well known in courts of Europe. In 1924, 12 years after the dearth of Guillaume, a subsidiary of Bristol-Myers Squibb, a pharmaceutical company with headquarters in New York City, and started producing cosmetics as well as fragrances.
Designer Lentheric has 15 perfumes in our fragrance base. Lentheric is an old perfume house. The earliest edition was created in 1933 and the newest is from 2001.
I believe this container was probably made in the 30s or 1940s but I could find no exact information on this exact bottle made of plastic with what I believe is an art deco design and the top opens and closes with a slide tab. It measures approximately 4 and 3/4 in tall by 2 in wide and holds 3.5 oz
