Bura Pottery - Niger

Total height on base of 18 cms.
The pottery measures 15 cms high x 11.5 cms in diameter.
The wooden base measures 8.5 x 8.5 cms at the base.
Weight: 0.760 kg for the pottery and 0.100 kg for the base.
Presumed age: More than 800 years.
Archaeological object, representing a Bura pottery.
The site of the Bura necropolis was discovered in 1975, 150 km northwest of Niamey.
This is an excavation piece, collected in Niger.
The base visible in the photos is part of the transaction.
Authentic piece, in very good condition.
