Terracotta vase - Baoulé - Ivory Coast

ENGLISH SPEAKING
Dimensions of 26 x 17 x 9 Cms.
Weight of approximately 1.040 kg without packaging.
Materials: Terracotta.
Presumed age: Late 19th to early 20th century.
Superb Baoulé terracotta vase, with very pretty Akan motifs on both sides, as well as cowries represented on the sides.
The vase stands perfectly upright, despite some gaps on the lower part.
Note that the vase is signed "Michel", first name found among the Baoulé.
