    Description

    8 sided, 19th century porcelain hand painted Satsuma brooch or pin set in a silver setting.
    Shimazu clan mark stamoed on the back.
    Bird.
    Good hinge, safety clasp. Pinstem has some bents but closes and works fine.
    Crazing in the porcelain. No chips or repairs.
    11 grams unpacked weight.
    Apparently  1.25" x 1.25 " and about 1/8" deep.
    Some dents in the silver setting on the back. Silver could use a good polish.
    Found in historic Bisbee Arizona exactly a year ago.
