Antique Maekanaga Clasp: Assortment of Two (V45)

Description

Antique Japanese Maekanaga clasps: The images on the front are a demon and a man holding a drum. These clasps have some wear. The backs are missing and some of the prongs have broken off.
The clasp is made of iron and can have bronze, copper, gold and or silver. The clasp is used for closure or decoration on a Japanese traditional tobacco pouch. The designs are usually very detailed and unique.
These clasps can easily be made into a pin or pendant. Both are sold together.
Measurement: demon 2 1/16 inches X 1 inch,  man and drum 1 7/8 inch X 1 inch.
