Antique Japanese Imari Pitcher With Asian Wood Stand
This beautiful piece has the classic, original colors and designs of the original Japanese Imari. It is quite old, it is marked on the bottom with the date of 1880. This was purchased from an estate sale in
Pennsylvania,
from a woman who was a collector of fine antiques and who had a store at one time.
Measures 4 1/2" from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout, it is 3 5/8" tall and the wood base is 3 1/2" X 1 1/8".
There is a crack that does not go through, on the inside edge, by the top of the handle. There are no other cracks, chips or crazing. Please look at all photos, they are the best indication of the quality and condition of the piece.
