Phoenix Bird 8 1/2" Bowl Plate
8½”dia x 1½” h, c.
mid 19th century.
Round with upturned scalloped sides.
Center stylize lotus round medallion in under-glaze blue. Enclosed flying Phoenix birds decorated scrolls. Painted in characteristic Imari color enamels.
Blue under-glaze mon & rhino horns devices in under-glaze blue around the exterior. Edge gilt.
Fine with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
