    Description

    For your consideration is a vintage covered powder jar.  The clear glass piece has a horizontally ribbed exterior and a
    column
    like design.  It has a
    brass tone
    lid with a Victorian couple in the center.  It measures about 4 1/2 inches in diameter and stands 2 1/2 inches tall on 3 small legs.   The piece is unmarked and
    we are told it
    dates from the early 1900's
    .   It is free of chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs.   The net weight is 14 ounces.
