  • Condition: It looks like there was gold paint on the top that has worn off, the other enamel gold and white decorations look very good. No chips or cracks. The brass base and legs look fine, the brass at the lid is somewhat tarnished but I decided to leave the old patina, the latch does close snuggly and as it should.

    Description

    Antique, hand decorated blown glass vanity jars are hard to find and the attached brass pedestal makes it a rarity. It is a beautiful emerald green color and my guess is it was produced in the second half of the 1800's. If anyone has a clue as to it's maker please send me a message.
    It stands 3.5" tall and measures 3.75" across at the widest point. It will be enjoyed by me on my dresser until it finds new home!
