Antique Late 19th/Early Century Chinese Handled Stack Bento Porcelain Inlay Food Carrying, Hand Painted Box. Comes complete with two large separate box compartments/trays.  Beautifully hand decorated with porcelain-insert in the upper-lid showing large green foliage, over lacquered wood. Decorated on all 4-sides every outer inch has adornment including the handle.  The bottoms & interior are painted black.
Estate Sale find from a remarkable home of a retired Dallas antique store owner. Every room fully filled with dazzling items. Condition is Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good shape with some wear & imperfections as expected with age, see pictures as part of description. There is one larger nick on the back side (actually darker in person) does not detract from the beauty of this amazing piece. This is very solid & quite old, very rare.
Lovely Deep Colors of brownish-red, with hand painted black & gold. Forgive the photos, these pictures do not do this justice. It's a gorgeous piece.
