    Description

    This is a sweet little cup holder was made in the second half of
    the 19th century by famed silversmith Alexander Katsch. Festooned in in swags of flowers and fruit, it is small and measures approximately
    1.75" (4.45cm)
    2.36" (6cm) across.  Including the handle it measures 3.35" (8.5cm). I did not polish it for fear of ruining the
    patina.  Alexander Katsch had jewelry and silver businesses in Cologne, St. Petersburg Berlin and Moscow.
