    AL HIRT
    "The World's Greatest Horn"
    Concert Program
    Dated 4-20-1968
    Measures approximately 8 1/2 x 11"
    Alois Maxwell "Al" Hirt
(November 7, 1922 – April 27, 1999) was an American trumpeter and bandleader.
Hirt is best remembered for his million-selling recordings of "Java" and the accompanying album
    Honey in the Horn
(1963), and for the theme music to
    The Green Hornet
    .
His nicknames included "Jumbo" and "The Round Mound of Sound". Colin Escott, an author of musician biographies, wrote that RCA Victor Records, for which Hirt had recorded most of his best-selling recordings and for which he had spent much of his professional recording career, had dubbed him with another moniker: "The King." Hirt was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in November 2009.

    SHIPPING
Will be shipped USPS First Class or Priority Mail with a cardboard protective backing
AND CONTRARY TO WHAT SOME SELLERS DO...
    MEDIA MAIL
    CANNOT
BE USED TO SHIP A MAGAZINE WHICH CONTAINS ADVERTISING.
THAT IS THE RULE OF THE USPS, not me and not eBay!
Many sellers ignore that to save on shipping BUT if the USPS feels a package contains a magazine (and it looks obvious when you ship something less than 1" thick to be a magazine), they WILL open the package  (which is their right to do so and they do it frequently).  This will cause a delay in delivery by several days or the package will be delivered WITH "POSTAGE DUE".   Both will cause an irritated buyer so because I sell with integrity and do not deceive... this magazine can only be shipped FIRST CLASS Or PRIORITY MAIL.   If you feel I am wrong, feel free to call your local Post Office and ask them

    EBAY STARS FOR SHIPPING TIME”
    .
Many buyers are unaware that this item means
HOW LONG DID THE SELLER TAKE TO SHIP THE ITEM AFTER YOU PAID HIM
. It does not mean that if I ship within 1-2 business days after you paid (which I state I will do) and the USPS takes 3 weeks to deliver it that the I shipped slow and deserve less than five stars.  I am NOT responsible for how long the shipper takes to deliver the item.  First Class Mail can take anywhere from 3 to 5 days to arrive – depending on its destination.  If I ship within the time I state in my listing (usually 1 business day) than I deserve the full five stars.
Please understand what you are rating sellers on before you rate them less than perfect!
